Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career? This client has a great opportunity to work as their lead Quantity Surveyor, working on interesting and exciting projects throughout the UK as well as Europe.
This company are a Bristol based contractor who specialise in the design, manufacture and install of interesting and exciting commercial projects. This company have been operating for over 20 years and are experiencing high levels of growth and success. As a result of this they have established themselves at the forefront of their market and are now looking to drive forward their growth plans by bringing a confident Quantity Surveyor on board.
In this office based role, you will be taking a lead position by in managing the commercial and financial aspects of all projects. You will work closely with the sales and design teams to ensure a smooth process. It will be a requirement of your role to travel to site as and when needed.
The ideal candidate will be an analytical individual who has previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry. You will be capable of managing projects from initial inception through to completion. You will have sound knowledge and experience of building up prices, with an understanding of JCT and NEC contracts.

The Role:
- Quantity Surveyor based in Bristol, travel throughout the UK is required
- Prepare, negotiate and manage project budgets
- Working closely with the sales and design teams
- Working on multiple projects at one time
- Leading and overseeing commercial aspects of projects, bringing expertise to the team
The Person:
- Proven experience in Quantity Surveying or a related role
- Comprehensive understanding of JCT and NEC contracts
- Good understanding of the construction industry
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Can do attitude, with great communication skills
- Full UK Driving License
